OCPOA Mission
The Orange County Peace Officers Association (“OCPOA”) was founded in 1927 and remains the oldest law enforcement organization in California. We are based in the City of Orange where we hold the deed to the property 1900 W. Katella and rent the retail space to the Orange County Range Store. OCPOA membership consists of active and retired law enforcement personnel and is open to both law enforcement personnel and the public.
The primary purpose of OCPOA is to provide education and training for peace officers while raising funds to support law enforcement personnel and their families impacted by serious injury or loss of life on-duty. The OCPOA also sponsors the Tactical Training Center at the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Katella Facility while donating to local charitable organizations and fundraising events.
